Diana Lorena Taurasi (born June 11, 1982) is a professional basketball player for the Women's National Basketball Association's Phoenix Mercury (WNBA). Phoenix selected her first overall in the 2004 WNBA draft. Taurasi has three WNBA championships, a record-breaking five Olympic gold medals, one WNBA Most Valuable Player Award, two WNBA Finals MVP Awards, five scoring crowns, and three FIBA World Cups to her credit.
