Tarek Mhich Obituary, Death – Tarek G. Chtaih, who lived in Parlin and was forty years old at the time of his passing on July 30, 2017, went away unexpectedly. Tarek spent his childhood in Elizabeth, New Jersey, but for the past six years, he has named Hialeah, Florida, his permanent residence.
Prior to that, he had been calling the town of Parlin in New Jersey home. He enjoyed experiencing new cultures, going to concerts in person, and participating in Muay Thai, which is a style of kickboxing. On January 27, 1989, both of his grandfathers, his maternal grandfather George McGettigan and his paternal grandfather George H. Chtaih, Sr., passed away.
Tarek’s father was George H. Chtaih, Sr. The city of Beirut, which is located in Lebanon, is where Tarek’s paternal grandparents were born. Those who are bereaved by his passing include his dedicated mother, Linda (McGettigan) Chtaih, his close sister Christine Nuzzo, his loving brother George H. Chtaih, Jr., his maternal grandmother, Lillian McGettigan, and his precious goddaughter, Monika Amber Connallon, as well as her son Robert. His paternal grandfather, George H. Chtaih, Sr., also predeceased him. Instead of sending flowers, his family and friends have asked that donations be made in his memory to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
