Suspect Arrested in Last Month's Fatal Shooting at Barbara Bennett Park | Police

Reno Police have arrested a suspect in a fatal shooting that happened at Barbara Bennett Park last month.

Emanual Body, 37, was located and arrested in downtown Reno without incident.

He is charged with Open Murder with the use of a deadly weapon in the death of Jordan White.

At about 3:30pm on Monday, the Reno Police Department responded to a shooting that occurred at Barbara Bennett Park in downtown Reno.

Officers arrived on scene and found an adult man with a gunshot wound inside of a vehicle.

REMSA then took him to a local hospital for emergency treatment but ultimately died from his injuries.

Police told us that it appears the deceased and the suspect had a previous argument that eventually led up to the shooting.

There is no threat to the general public as this was a personal issue between these parties.
