Robert I. “Bobby” Muse Obituary, Death – Robert I. “Bobby” Muse, a retired Kentucky State Trooper, passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 78, in Stanford, Kentucky. Born on December 8, 1945, in Pulaski County, Bobby was the son of the late Boyd Russell Muse and Geneva Henderson Muse. His 20 years of dedicated service to the Commonwealth of Kentucky as a Kentucky State Trooper reflect his commitment to public service.
Bobby’s love for old muscle cars and horses defined his passions outside of work. As a member of Fairview Baptist Church, he found solace and community in his faith. His memory is cherished by his two sons, Rob Muse and Marc Muse, along with five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Bobby is also survived by four brothers: Bruce Muse, Rick Muse, Jerry Muse, and Tony Muse; two sisters: Shirley Singleton and Sue Howell, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, as well as one brother, Steve Muse, and two sisters, Ruth Porterfield and Violet Fern Muse. A Public Visitation is scheduled for 5-8 PM on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at Fox & Friend Funeral Home. The Public Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 AM on Thursday at the funeral home, officiated by Bro. Vola Brown.
The burial will follow in Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery, where Bobby will find his final resting place. Active Pallbearers include Jeremiah Hayden, Taylor Muse, Conner Lee, Tanner Lee, Stephen Muse, Justin Muse, and Donnie Shackleford. Jimmy Henderson and Rick Muse will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. In commemorating Bobby Muse’s life, the community gathers to pay their respects, acknowledging the legacy of a man who served his state with dedication and left a lasting impact on those who knew and loved him.
