Landon Miller will be returning to KTVN Tuesday, August 10th as the new co-anchor of 2 News This Morning alongside veteran anchor Andi Guevara, Meteorologist Jeff Martinez, and Traffic Reporter Colin Jackson.
“As a child, I grew up watching 2 News This Morning and it was the catalyst for me selecting this career,” said Miller. “I am excited to challenge myself with the morning show format while working beside Andi to create a smart, informative, and enjoyable experience for our viewers in the morning.”
Landon Miller grew up in Reno. He graduated from Wooster High School and the University of Nevada earning degrees in Journalism and Spanish. Landon is continuing with his post graduate education at Nevada teaching classes and working toward his master’s degree in Spanish.
Miller is no stranger to 2 News viewers. He was co-anchor for the Monday through Friday evening news at 5:00 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m., 7:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. from 2016 to 2019 where he earned an Emmy© for anchoring in the Best Local Newscast category. He will now be returning to anchor the show where he first started his reporting career. Plus, Miller is currently a host for the afternoon drive with 2 News radio partner Alice 96.5 FM.
