Kevin Galvin Obituary, Death – The 15th of February, 2022 was the day that Kevin Galvin, who was 58 years old at the time, entered eternal life surrounded by his devoted family. Kevin bravely overcame brain cancer, however he ultimately passed away while suffering from non-covid pneumonia. As well as being a devoted husband to Cynthia, he was a doting father to Michael, Molly, Megan, and Maureen, and he was cherished by his animal companion Murphy, who was his greatest friend.
Kevin had a personality that was larger than life, and he will be remembered for his warmth, wit, and unflinching dedication to his family. St. Paul, Minnesota was the location of Kevin’s birth, and he was the second oldest of seven children. After completing his elementary education at Holy Spirit Catholic School in St. Paul, Minnesota, he went on to complete his secondary education at St. Thomas Academy in Mendota Heights, Minnesota.
And ultimately earned his degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Lincoln, Nebraska. He met Cynthia, the woman he would spend the rest of his life with, while he was attending Creighton University. He decided to spend the rest of his life at her side. A wedding ceremony took place on the campus of Creighton University in the year 1993.
By working together, they were able to construct his greatest treasure, which was a prosperous family that was surrounded by a group of close friends. Kevin felt a sense of pride that was well-deserved for this achievement.
Kevin was a one-of-a-kind individual who possessed an incredible enthusiasm for life. The pranks he played on his family, his vivid sense of humour, and his complete and utter refusal to heed fashion cues were some of the things that everyone knew about him.
Both his interests and his talents were diverse. Kevin could be described as an artist at heart, and he enjoyed drawing, painting, and carving wood. In addition to being an Eagle Scout, he enjoyed spending time outside by playing golf, downhill skiing, camping, and experiencing the lake life during his free time. He was a passionate traveller who revelled in experiencing new things with his loved ones and friends.
After a lot of practice, he was able to pack up the vehicle that the family used in less than an hour. In addition to that, he made a habit of sitting in the sand. The several trips he took to Vero Beach and Hilton Head, as well as tubing down the Mio River with his buddies the GW3s, were all enjoyable experiences for him. Numerous volleyball competitions,.
Minnesota Vikings games, and Notre Dame football games were among the events that he attended thanks to his involvement as a father and his enthusiasm as a fan. Kevin was a man of great ingenuity; if he was unable to mend something, he could construct a new one for you. In addition, he was interested in reading, genealogy, and collecting beer cans (he had close to 3,000 of them). It was Kevin and Cynthia’s passion to host parties. If it was a peaceful Friday night or a boisterous Mardi Gras or St. Patrick’s Day party, their door was always open. This was true regardless of the occasion.
