Joining Forces Impaired Driver Campaign Starts Friday | News

The Sparks Police Department will be partnering with law enforcement agencies in Nevada for a Joining Forces Impaired Driver Campaign. This campaign will take place from February 9 until February 23.

The goal of the campaign is to keep motorists safe by reducing the amount of impaired drivers on the roads.

Law enforcement agencies will participate by increasing their patrols across the state and educating the public about the dangers of driving while impaired.

The Sparks Police Department says the most important risk of driving while impaired is injuries or the loss of lives.

A DUI can lead to a fine of up to $10,000 or more. You could also risk being arrested, having your car impounded, losing your driver's license, or losing your job.
