Jessica Reid Car Accident, Death – A Caucasian woman who was driving a Bentley on April 21 and crashed it in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, was taken aback when she found out that her privilege would not protect her from being arrested. On November 9, a video of the arrest was uploaded to Reddit and shared by users there. Officers from the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department were responding to a report regarding a woman who had crashed her $300,000 Bentley, as shown in the video. The voice-over warns her that she is about to find out what happens when one acts entitled and things turn out horribly.

When the first officer arrived on the site, there was a guy and a woman standing by the side of the road. The officer approached them and inquired as to who was driving the crashed Bentley. “I am,” the woman responded as a male witness who had stopped to check on her waved to the woman. The witness was a passerby who had stopped to see how she was doing. The officer gave the woman, who was later named as Jessica Reid and appeared to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, several commands to wait by her vehicle while he gathered information from the witness.

The witness murmured to the police officer, “I’m not sure what’s going on,” to which the officer answered, “I’m sure you and I already both know that.” “Yeah, so I was in my van over here, and all of a sudden, I hear, you know, just, I look over, and I see her plow into the back of that car,” the man added. “Yeah, so I was in my van over here.” The law enforcement official said, “Did she slow down at all?” The man replied, “No,” and went on to say that Reid was driving at speeds between 45 and 50 miles per hour. At that time, Reid intervened, and the police instructed her to wait by her vehicle as he proceeded to question the man. Reid complied with the officer’s request.
