Spotify is an audio streaming app and a media services company based in Sweden, which was created by Daniel Ek and Martin Lorentzon on April 23, 2006. As of September 2021. It has 172 million paying customers and 381 million active users. This makes it the world's largest music streaming service provider. Spotify delivers digital copyright-restricted recorded music and podcasts from record labels and media firms, including more than 70 million songs.

What's Spotify Wrapped?
Spotify has added an annual feature that shows users' listening patterns throughout the year. From 2021, the streaming platform will display listeners' favourite artists, songs, albums, genres, podcasts, and more. The information reveals things like whether you're in the top 10% of a particular artist's listeners or if you were one of the first to hear a song or artist before anyone else. Last year, Spotify Wrapped included a little quiz to see how well fans thought they knew their musical preferences. Both subscription and free users will be able to use the function; however, premium customers will have access to additional content and more personalised information from their Spotify Wrapped. Users who created an account before November 15th and listened to at least five different artists and 30 different tracks will be eligible for the feature.
