Will Dragon Ball The Breakers Be Cross Platform?

Unfortunately, Dragon Ball: The Breakers will not launch with crossplay enabled. The title's producer, Ryosuke Hara, said in a January 2022 interview that there was "no plan to support cross-platform and cross-save at the moment." Though crossplay was not prioritized before launch, it does not mean that game will never have the functionality and could very well be added later in the game's lifecycle.

Is Dragon Ball The Breakers Crossplay?

Dragon Ball The Breakers is not crossplay and thus does not support cross-platform multiplayer between PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch. The developers have been asked whether they could add the feature. Still, producer Ryosuke Hara told Siliconera in January that there is yet to be a plan to support cross-platform and cross-save. Multiplayer between console families PS4 and PS5, Xbox One, and Series X/S is supported, but you cannot play against people on other systems. This means PlayStation users cannot matchmake with Xbox, PC, Nintendo Switch, and vice versa.

Dragon Ball Gameplay

Players can choose their progression path if assigned as raiders or survivors. Players can also unlock various perks, character skins, and much more. Players must customize their loadout to be survivors or raiders effectively. In this game, you play as the survivor, where you play your slay against the villains. The raiders have access to overwhelming powers at their disposal to hunt and destroy all of the survivors. Since the survivors are regular citizens, they must rely on vehicles, weapons, and utility items as they struggle to fight for their lives. The game is an asymmetrical action game in which players take on the role of the "Raider," who hunts down the rest of the players and powers up as they do so, and "Survivors," who need to maneuver around the environment and make use of items and power-ups to evade the Raider and escape using a Super Time Machine either alone or cooperatively.
