On December 5, the body of Crystal Uptain, who was 38 years old, was discovered in the Butterfield Station Landfill in Mobile, Arizona, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.
It has been concluded that Uptain’s death was a homicide. This conclusion was reached after the sheriff’s office stated that there were “suspicious circumstances involving the scene.” The body of the woman was also found to have “unexplained injuries,” according to the sheriff’s office. On November 25th, the Maricopa Police Department had earlier reported that Uptain was believed to be missing.
