BET Her is an American cable tv network which is owned by ViacomCBS Domestic Media Networks. This channel was named Centric earlier and it is a channel of the original BET network. The channel was first launched in the year 1996 as BET focusing on African American peoples. Later in 2006, it was changed to BET J focusing on music programs, then again in 2009, they changed to Centric, now focusing on lifestyle and music programs. Finally, in 2017, it changed its name to BET Her TV focusing on African American women.
